Macadamia shortbread balls

This melt in your melt little treat is super easy and always a hit. We like to fill a jar, add ribbon and give as a gift.
Ingredients

125gms softened butter
-
1 Tsp vanilla paste or essence
-
2 TBS caster sugar

1 Cup finely chopped macadamias or pecans

1 Cup plain flour
-
½ cup icing sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 180 deg
Beat butter, essence and sugar until pale and creamy.
Stir in the nuts and flour.
Roll into balls.
Bake for 15 minutes or until just golden.
Sift icing sugar over the top of the balls while still warm. Once they have cooled and are easy to pick up roll in extra icing sugar.
